About Center for Hyperbaric Medicine
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a medical treatment that enhances the body's natural healing process by using high-dose oxygen to repair tissue, stimulate new blood vessel creation, improve circulation, and mobilize the body's stem cells. It involves breathing 100% pure oxygen inside a pressurized chamber, increasing the amount of oxygen the blood carries to organs and tissues to promote wound healing and activate white blood cells to fight infection. HBOT is used to treat a variety of conditions, including chronic wounds, diabetic ulcers, radiation injuries, and certain infections.
