About Department of Hyperbaric Medicine
The Department of Hyperbaric Medicine at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center, established in 1974, is an internationally recognized facility in Southern California. They have provided hyperbaric oxygen treatments to over 20,000 patients, treating both adults and children from Los Angeles and Orange County. The department offers both inpatient and outpatient services seven days a week, with 24-hour emergency care available. Their state-of-the-art facility features six monoplace hyperbaric oxygen chambers, including larger models that allow patients to sit comfortably during treatment while watching TV or visiting with family.
