About Houston Hyperbaric Oxygen Center
Houston Hyperbaric Oxygen Center (HHOC) was founded to provide affordable hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) to individuals who may not be able to afford treatment at a local hospital or those with conditions not typically covered by insurance, such as traumatic brain injuries and strokes. Led by Dr. Allison Boyle, a board-certified neurologist specializing in neurology and movement disorders, HHOC utilizes four ASME and PVHO-1 certified monoplace chambers with Amron seals to deliver 100% oxygen at pressures between 1.5 to 3 atmospheres. The center aims to make HBOT accessible for off-label conditions, allowing patients to relax, sleep, or watch movies during treatment. HBOC focuses on wound healing, leveraging HBOT's ability to reduce inflammation, minimize pain and scarring, and provide antibacterial effects. HBOT can shorten recovery times for wound healing. The clinic is located in Humble, TX. Note that there appear to be multiple HBOT centers in Houston, including MD Hyperbaric, Huemn, Face Forward Houston, and Athré Facial Plastics. These clinics offer medical-grade hyperbaric oxygen therapy using hard-shell chambers and physician-supervised programs. Some centers, like Huemn, offer flexible payment plans. Other centers focus on post-surgical recovery and aesthetic procedures.
