Hyperbaric Medicine Departments specialize in hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), a treatment where patients breathe 100% pure oxygen inside a pressurized chamber. Some facilities have multiplace chambers that can accommodate multiple adults, while others use monoplace chambers.
