About Hyperbaric Medicine
The Center for Hyperbaric Medicine at Hennepin Healthcare has been providing hyperbaric oxygen therapy since 1964. It is equipped with a state-of-the-art Fink multi-place chamber that opened in 2012. Hennepin Healthcare's hyperbaric chamber is the only one open 24 hours a day for emergencies in Minnesota, making it a referral center for hyperbaric emergencies in western Wisconsin, eastern Dakotas, Iowa, and all of Minnesota. The center provides hyperbaric oxygen therapy for various medical conditions, including gas gangrene, carbon monoxide poisoning, decompression sickness, necrotizing fasciitis, and diabetic foot ulcers.
