About Hyperbaric Medicine
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is a medical treatment that enhances the body's natural healing process by delivering 100% oxygen at increased atmospheric pressure. This therapy increases the amount of oxygen in the blood, promoting faster and more effective healing of wounds and infections. HBOT is used to treat a variety of conditions, including non-healing wounds, diabetic ulcers, and certain infections. It can also be used to treat carbon monoxide poisoning, smoke inhalation, and decompression sickness.
