The Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Oxygen Center, part of the Dignity Health network, offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy as an outpatient procedure to aid in wound healing. They provide treatment five days a week for approximately four to six weeks. During HBO therapy, patients breathe 100% oxygen in a pressurized room or chamber, increasing the amount of oxygen in the blood and promoting healing. This therapy is beneficial for stimulating the growth of new capillaries, deactivating toxins, enhancing the body's ability to fight infections, and reducing inflammation and swelling. The center is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
